Duck, Duck, Duck, Turtle
Last nigh Arah showed off her ability to say turtle. This is probably going to be recorded as her first word although she did make a run at trying to say duck. I figure the two-syllable word should win out for the sake of clarity.I wonder what we will tell her when she asks what her first was. Don’t get me wrong, turtle is cool; I mean, it’s better than mama and dada. But what if it was like sarsaparilla? That would be cool. I’ll be all like “yeah babe, you were 7 months old just chill’in on the couch watching Elmo and then you said sarsaparilla. You were cool like that.”
