MAD flight

Well I don’t know if I have anything to really ‘blog’ about today but to avoid Blog neglect I will make an effort.

Tomorrow I leave for Houston along with Kasey and Arah. Taking a 9 month old on a plane will be interesting (she turned 9 mo. today). It is weird knowing that as soon as people see me walk onto the plane I will be immediately the most hated person on the plane. But, Arah is a pretty mild mannered kid so I don’t expect there to be too many hexes placed on me.

I watched MAD TV on Saturday and saw what must be one of the first uses of The Tsunami in a comedy sketch. Now, I see this parody of Maroon 5 doing a Tsunami relief video on TRL and I’m thinking, “This can’t be good”. Then the obnoxious clip of TRL kids screaming about how much they love Maroon 5 pop up completely drowning out the video. MAD TV is safe they basically bashed MTV and TRL for being obnoxious, cool. BUT at the end of the sketch the host of the parody explained the joke. “ I guess we shouldn’t have showed the fans while playing such an sad video.” DON”T EXPLAINE IT. The sketch went from ‘oh no what are they doing’ to ‘nice’ the finishing with ‘that sketch was weak and should not have been done’.

Well I’m off to H-Town.
